Black and her Dartmouth team of third Jenn Baxter, second Karlee Everist and lead Shelley Barker evened the count with three in the fourth end. In the semifinals, Lawes defeated New Brunswick’s Andrea Kelly, with Jill Brothers at second, 5-4 while Black edged Winnipeg’s Jennifer Jones 5-4.
