Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson branded 'shambles' for 'slurring, unsteady' performance
Kaiser Chiefs fans have criticised lead singer, Ricky Wilson, for his "shambles" performance at the O2 Academy in London, last night. The 44-year-old, who has fronted the Leeds band since 2003, appeared to be swaying unsteadily on stage.
The frontman, from Keighley, also appeared to be slurring his words, in a video that has been posted on social media. Disappointed fans have branded the performance "a shambles", with some asking if the singer is okay. Other fans said that they had travelled across countries to see the band perform, but were left feeling let down. One fan said that they were "feeling sad and cheated".@JacPliers said: "@KaiserChiefs: We came all the way from the Netherlands to see you play but Ricky Wilson: the rest of the band saved your ass and the KC concert tonight."
@TeriJaynePowel1 replied: "Bloody hell, what a sad sight Love Kaiser Chiefs, love Ricky Wilson, but glad I didn't get tickets now. I wouldn't have sat through that. Hope Ricky gets the help he needs!" Another fan, who had attended the gig, said that the rest of the band did not look too happy with Ricky's performance, either. @J_Austin_50 said: "He let his fans down and the band didn't look happy with him either. Been to see them many times in the past but this will probably be the last."
