BREAKING: Just Stop Oil supporters have ran onto the stage at the Royal Albert Hall on the opening night of the BBC Proms.
They then attempted to address the audience, before security intervened and removed the activists.
In footage from the incident, the pair can be seen waving an orange flag emblazoned with the Just Stop Oil logo.Another man repeatedly cries ‘throw them off the stage, throw them off the stage’.Just Stop Oil shared footage of the incident on Twitter, adding: ‘We Cannot Afford to Fiddle While Rome Burns.
