Just Stop Oil campaigners have blocked London’s Park Lane and spray-painted the front of a luxury car showroom in their latest protest. The campaigners sat in Park Lane in central London at 11am on Sunday, some glueing themselves to the tarmac or locking themselves together.London’s Metropolitan Police said: “Twelve people have been arrested after paint was sprayed on to the front of a car showroom in Park Lane this morning.“Of these, 11 were arrested for obstruction of the highway and one on suspicion of criminal damage. They remain in custody.
Ms Braverman, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Nadhim Zahawi met this morning to apply for a new injunction against Just Stop Oil causing disruption on London’s roads, Sky News reported., which engages in similar activities, but a separate one needs to be taken out for Just Stop Oil.
