Neighbours do not want to move out of the Nottingham area where "everyone looks out for each other". Sherwood has recorded the lowest number of burglary reports when compared to the rest of Nottingham, latest data reveals.
But the low figure does not come as a surprise to the tightknit community. Residents in Sherwood said they love living there and always keep an eye out for each other.Hitu Keval, a retired resident who has lived in Sherwood since 1987, said: "We look out for each other. I know everyone on this street.
He added: "We are like partners in this community. I have lived here since 1987 and I could count on one hand the incidents that happened here. The 45-year-old added: "I know my immediate neighbours, and those across the road. It is really quiet around here.
