The Junior Automation Engineer is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for researching, developing, designing, and building automated systems and/or applications that are implemented to perform a variety of tasks reducing the need for human intervention in order to maximize efficiency.
Key responsibilities:Develop, configure and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline processes. Troubleshoot and resolve automations-related issues promptlyAssist in monitoring automation performance and optimizing for efficiencyPerforms any other related task as required. Strong knowledge of Python or other scripting languages . Experience using Ansible, N8N, and Metabase.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and documentation skills. Diploma or relevant certification in IT, Automation, or related field . Exposure to robotics, AI, or machine learning concepts is a plus.
Familiarity with performance testing and automation pipelines. Moderate level demonstrated project management experience. Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Moderate level programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
