Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham might throw a spanner in the works for Liverpool's transfer plans.
Bellingham has enjoyed a stunning start to life in the Spanish capital by scoring 11 goals in 12 games, including Real's second goal in the Champions League win at Braga on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are being linked with a move for Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala despite bringing in four new midfielders in the summer window.
His contract with Bayern runs until June 2026, but if no extension is agreed upon by next summer, the Bavarian side might be forced to sell him while they can still get a good price. According to Sky Sports Germany, Bellingham's friendship with Musiala could bring Real into the picture. Bellingham's persuasive powers are likely boosted by his current form. This is despite Musiala having experience of English football after youth stints with Southampton and Chelsea.
