Exclusive: JonasBrothers sing in Spanish for the first time on SebastianYatra's Runaway
The Jonas Brothers will sing in a bilingual, Spanish-English track for the first time as featured artists on Sebastian Yatra’s “Runaway,” due out next Friday . The song will also feature Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha, in an unusual collaboration that Yatra, the rising Colombian star, describes as “Y-100 meets La Mega.”
While collabs with multiple artists on Latin tracks are now the norm, “Runaway” and its final iteration have been a long time coming.in an exclusive interview, of when producers Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo sent him the track. From the onset, “we wanted to include someone from the mainstream market because the chorus is in English,” says Yatra -- who was born in Colombia but lived here half his life, and speaks perfect English.
