Councillors were aware of events unfolding around the Queen’s failing, whilst commemorating the sad loss of our colleague and friend, bailie Malcolm Cunning, who we will all miss a great deal.
A major aid appeal has been launched by the Disasters Emergency Committee, and while other events have dominated media attention over the past week, it is vital that we do not forget the tragedy which has occurred in Pakistan. This is why we must continue to demand climate justice, both from the international community, but also in our local actions.
