Despite their 0-0 draw with Cape Town City, Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson praised his midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe's performance.
Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson was full of praise for his midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe following his side’s goalless draw with Cape Town City.
With the absence of key midfielders Yusuf Maart and Edson Castillo, Johnson opted to start with the former AmaZulu midfielder alongside Sibongiseni Mthethwa. “I hope he stays like this for the next 10 games. I always said this, ‘I will try to give everybody an opportunity while I’m here’. And if they play and do well, it shows you why the club bought them initially,” he said as perSithebe’s performance in the midfield may have done enough for him to start Kaizer Chiefs’s next match but Johnson could still revert back to the Maart/Castillo combination. The duo has started the majority of Amakhosi games but are yet to be effective.
