Johnny Depp 'penetrated Amber Heard with a liquor bottle' during a 2015 'hostage situation'
Johnny Depp's $100million defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard began with opening statements Tuesday in Fairfax, Virginia. Depp's attorneys told how a 'deeply troubled' Heard went to great lengths to pursue the actor, before becoming violent. Her lawyers said that a therapist will testify who 'admits Johnny has rage and he's like a demon'.
Depp's spokesman vehemently denied those claims, saying in a statement, 'These fictitious claims were never made at the onset of Amber's allegations in 2016. The former spouses are squaring off over a 2018 op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post calling herself a domestic violence survivor. Depp claims he was booted from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise because of the 'clear implication' he was the abuser in Heard's op-ed.
