The chairman of the John Lewis Partnership will leave the business next year, it has been announced, just weeks after it warned of a two-year extension to its turnaround plan.The decision means her tenure will be the shortest in the firm's history., Sharon White, has today asked the partnership board to initiate the process to appoint a successor as she enters the latter stages of her five-year term.
