Livings, though, must be made, to ensure this does not just become a place for those newcomers with a whopping pension, or a bank account heavy with the spoils of selling a house in the big city.

Remote work enables my son to work here for an outfit that is there. It allows neighbours down along the South Shore to be near an aging mother, and a friend to be able to visit his mom in a Halifax nursing home, most days while making his daily bread serving clients in the southern United States.
