No. 3 John Carroll men’s basketball beat No. 24 Mount Union 88-86 in a dramatic overtime finish to clinch the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Championship.

The Blue Streaks got off to a hot start on Saturday, opening up the game with a 14-0 run in the first five minutes, led by junior Luke Frazier who contributed eight of those points. JCU would lead by as much as 22 in the first half and led by 12 headed into halftime. With 0.4 seconds in the game, Chicone was fouled and made both free throws to tie the game back up and force overtime.
