Johannesburg Water has announced plans to cut water supply in certain parts of the city to address the ongoing water woes.

“While the entity will ensure that water supply is not interrupted and that water tankers are deployed and refilled regularly, residents in informal settlements are urged to take care of water tanks to help maintain basic services for the community,” said spokesperson Nombuso Shabalala.there are no water tankers in various areas in informal settlements, residents are encouraged to report the matter to the award counsellor or the nearest Johannesburg Water depot.”.
