The festival will host its first Afrikaans comedy show with Schalk Bezuidenhout’s 'Snorseun'.

Some of the biggest names in comedy will be collaborating with some of the country’s most prominent celebrities for your laughing pleasure.

The next few days of the festival will feature local and international talent around the theatre complex, culminating in Fire In The Hole at the Mandela Theatre on March 16, showcasing over 40 comedians. Fresh from his critically acclaimed Netflix debut, a show-stopping appearance on Live At The Apollo and a tour of Europe, Loyiso Gola will perform his award-winning solo show, Unlearning, at the festival. He will be taking this show to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival later this year.

The League of Nations line-up will feature comedians from all over the world. Others joining the show include Dane Baptiste , Ali Al Sayed and Tsitsi Chiumya . One of UK’s fastest rising stars – “the honourable” Tom Houghton, now a resident of the famous Tower of London, has been added to the line-up.
