A House committee hearing turned chaotic on Thursday after two Republican witnesses left the room without questioning from panel members.

Shortly after their opening statements, committee member Representative Stephen Lynch, a Massachusetts Democrat, asked Jordan why the two witnesses were allowed to leave the hearing without cross-examination from the panel, arguing that without follow-up interrogation, their testimony should be stricken from the record.
