Footage of about 30 customers consulting clinic staff were reportedly posted online, with some reports claiming that footage of the customers undressing were leaked as well.
According to Korean media outlets, a well-known plastic surgery clinic in South Korea’s glitzy Gangnam district has come under fire after it was discovered that footage from their CCTV cameras was leaked and posted online.
Unlike traditional CCTV cameras, IP cameras broadcast all footage that it captures online to a server. This means that footage can be viewed in real-time remotely. The 2nd Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has shared that they are currently investigating how the footage was leaked.
