Jones said Tuesday in his weekly radio interview on The Fan in Dallas that he thinks Prescott could play within the next four games. PrescottJones said he’s not just being optimistic. The team feels that after Prescott’s surgery Monday, the timeline has changed.

It was originally thought to be a six- to eight-week injury. Jones seems to think it’s closer to three to four weeks now.Prescott came off the field midway through the fourth quarter of the team’s Week 1 matchup. He had his throwing hand checked out on the sideline before exiting to the locker room.
