In an apparent response to critics who have accused pro-Palestinian campaigners of insufficiently condemning the terrorists responsible for slaughtering more than a thousand Israeli civilians and taking at least 150 hostages, Mr Corbyn said: “There are many who say that nobody should be today because they’ll be condoning terrible things. None of us are here to condone killing, to condone occupation, to allow this assault on the people of Gaza and of the West Bank to go on.
