Eagle-eyed viewers have spotted a basic mistake being repeated
Jeremy Clarkson's farming show has a lot of fans who are real farmers – but some of them have spotted a basic mistake he keeps making regarding how his animals are looked after. Clarkson's Farm sees the ex-Top Gear presenter chaotically attempt to run his thousand acre Diddly Squat farm.
Another agreed: “Not [the] only one. I noticed that too.” And a third wrote: “I said to the other half he put the tags in backwards.” Ear tags are attached to each ear of a every calf when they are born. It is a legal requirement which helps to identify each animal and prevent and control the outbreak of disease.
So the farming community was right to call out the show on its mistake. Others complained that some “activities” in the show are infuriating to watch, claiming they are made more clunky for entertainment value. Shortly before the new Clarkson's Farm series arrived on Amazon, Clarkson hit the headlines when he wrote a hate-filled comment piece in The Sun about the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. He said he hated her on a “cellular level” and dreamed of her being publicly humiliated.
