Jennifer Lopez's new Versace campaign pays homage to that iconic dress.
Jennifer Lopez’s long-time relationship with Versace is coming full circle: The 50-year-old is representing the famous Italian fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, she announced on Instagram Saturday.
One photo features Lopez, who is engaged to baseball star Alex Rodriguez, sporting a green palm leaf suit with no shirt underneath, reminiscent of her iconic Versace dress which she wore to the 42nd Grammy Awards in 2000 with then-beau Sean “Diddy” Combs. Versace also cemented the news by posting images of Lopez on its Instagram account. “To me, Versace represents empowerment. It’s a dream to collaborate with my friend @donatella_versace again on this gorgeous campaign and to create something new and fresh out of a piece of iconic fashion history,” Lopez is quoted in the post.
