broke up sotto voce, a couple of apple pie teenagers untouched by the adultbackdrop to their story. Day busting through the window to drive his crewneck daughter home was a nice touch.
With spring break upon us, it seemed only fitting that the Please Don’t Destroy guys were hitting the open roads with an overworked Ortega tagging along. Like most road trips, though, the sheen of adventure dulled almost immediately. The navigator has the best seat but the worst job. The driver is always on a power trip. Somebody is a gross eater. Here, Ortega’s slurping at the dregs of her Slurpee got under’s skin.
