A 64\u002Dyear\u002Dold Massachusetts woman is accused of fatally poisoning her boyfriend by lacing his coffee shakes with antifreeze.

The man received care at three different hospitals. Doctors found Fowler’s kidneys were failing because of antifreeze poisoning, prompting his family to call the cops.While reviewing security footage, police found unidentified containers around Church’s apartment. Members of Fowler’s family said he had told them two weeks prior that he believed Church might be poisoning him with the coffee shakes she made for him often.
Church’s motives for the alleged poisoning are unclear, however, Michael Hawkins, Fowler’s stepson, told authorities that Fowler had been seeing Church and another woman. Hawkins said he overheard Church claiming she “wanted to murder” Fowler’s other girlfriend, NBC Boston reported.
