The agreement comes a month after JD Sports raised its stake in the retailer to 18%. At that time, the company said it was not planning to make an offer for Footasylum. Footasylum sells footwear and apparel primarily to 16- to 24-year-olds and competes with Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct and ASOS among others.
