Jayden Daniels confirmed in an interview on the 'All Facts No Brakes' podcast that he and former LSU teammate Malik Nabers have a $10,000 bet on who will win the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
John Keim covers the Washington Commanders for ESPN. He joined ESPN in 2013 after a stint with the Washington Post. He started covering the team in 1994 for the Journal Newspapers and later for the Washington Examiner. He has authored/co-authored four books. You can also listen to him on 'The John Keim Report', which airs on ESPN Richmond radio, and follow him on Twitter @john_keimin the draft.
Daniels also confirmed that it was for"10" when asked by Johnson after Nabers had said"whoever lose gotta pay, I think it's $10,000 cash." ESPN has contacted the NFL league office to determine if this would violate their policy on gambling but did not immediately hear back. But the league's policy states that NFL personnel are prohibited from"placing, soliciting or facilitating any bet, whether directly or through a third party," on any NFL game, practice or other league event, such as the draft or combine.
