Psybergate, an IT company specializing in custom software solutions and providing highly skilled resources to clients, is seeking a talented Java Developer. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable Java applications, focusing on building RESTful services and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs, integrating them with internal and external systems, and ensuring secure coding practices through the implementation of Spring Security for authentication, authorization, and data protection. You will also be involved in database integration using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate, optimizing performance and data consistency.Furthermore, you will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, perform unit testing with JUnit and Mockito, adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles. Collaboration will be key, working closely with product managers, business analysts, and other development teams to understand business requirements and implement technical solutions. You will contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing application performance, scalability, and reliability, while identifying areas for enhancement in existing systems and processes. Deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate development, testing, and deployment processes will also fall under your purview. Active participation in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, will ensure timely project delivery. Finally, you will provide ongoing support and maintenance of applications post-launch, troubleshooting issues, and applying necessary fixes.The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of experience in Java development with a strong emphasis on Spring technologies (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data). Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications, preferably in the banking or financial sector, is highly desirable. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) are essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes will be a valuable asset
