Janey Godley has updated fans with good news about her cancer battle after the comedian was told she 'must' lose weight.
"I still have cancer, the chemo is keeping it at bay - it’s incurable but treatable," she updated her 288.1k social media followers. "I can’t eat banana thanks it irritates my hernia but I can eat healthy food and lose weight," responded Janey.A third fan quipped: "Good luck with it…keep a food diary…everything you eat..it helped me…"Janey's work was recognised earlier this month when she won 'Comedian's comedian' at the Chortle Awards, receiving the accolade from her treatment bed as she underwent another round of chemotherapy.
