Jane McDonald breaks silence as it's revealed she'll replace Phillip Schofield at Soap Awards
Jane McDonald has broken her silence after it was revealed that she will replace Phillip Schofield as host at the British Soap Awards following Phil admitting to having lied to ITV.Presenter Jane then took to social media to share her excitement with her followers as she described the role as a “dream come true”.
“I can’t wait to see all our wonderful soap nominees and celebrate all their hard work with them - roll on the awards, I can’t wait!Fans joined in on Jane’s excitement as one wrote: “Absolutely brilliant news …. I don’t watch the soaps but I love watching you so shall be tuning in….. we need to see more of you on the TV…. Well done darling.”
Phillip revealed in a statement last Friday that he had lied to ITV and apologised for his behaviour before stepping down as host at the British Soap Awards.
