Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has been speaking about Virgil van Dijk. The Reds captain has come under criticism in recent times for the first time in his Anfield career.

“It has been a timely response because, for the first time in his Anfield career, Van Dijk has to silence doubters. By his standards, the last 12 months were poor. He remains one of the top four centre-backs in the Premier League.”
