Jarell Quansah was the surprise inclusion in Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool team to face Wolves
The 20-year-old was named in Jurgen Klopp's starting 11 for their trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers with Joe Gomez filling in at right-back due to Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury. Gomez and Joel Matip both had strong performances on the eve of the international break, in the win over Aston Villa. Warrington-born Quansah was a late substitute after the hamstring injury to Liverpool's vice-captain, Alexander-Arnold.
Ibrahima Konate returned to first-team training this week after a spell on the sidelines with a muscle injury. However, Quansah's impression on Klopp is evident as he has been thrust into the first-team upon the return from the international break as Liverpool chase a fourth straight win.
