Jamie Carragher has made peace with the prospect of Mohamed Salah leaving Liverpool for Saudi Arabia... but not just yet
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has given it 12 months before his former club choose to cash in on Mohamed Salah.
The only reason fears of an exit this summer persist is because of the Saudi Arabian transfer window closing tomorrow night - almost a week after England's - though Al-Ittihad have a number of hurdles to cross, plus as reported by the ECHO on Tuesday, any offer this week will be swiftly rejected. "And the fact that Liverpool have started well gives you hope that they make the top four. Could they really challenge City like they have done in the past? There's still a big question mark above that.
Liverpool have been linked with various youthful right wingers across the summer months, such as Johan Bakayoko or Jaden Philogene, as prodigies that may prove long-term successors in the future. Current right-wing back-up Ben Doak also slots into this category.
