James Tavernier has been labelled a 'genuine leader' as criticism of the Rangers skipper has been questioned by one pundit.

Tavernier is often singled-out by the support but BBC pundit Michael Stewart believes that is HARSH on the captain and he isn't who they should be looking at.

The lazy criticism that is levelled at him is that defending isn't his strong point but to a great extent over the years, that has been limited. His strengths and positives have come to the fore.
