A specialized vacation getaway package lets travelers journey like James Bond, but it is quite expensive. Based on Ian Fleming's popular novels, the spy film series began in 1962 with Sean Connery as 007 in Dr. No. Spanning 60 years, the action-adventure franchise spawned 25 films that saw six different actors take Bond to various locales around the planet to save the world from a pantheon of eclectic villains.

Organized by luxury travel company Black Tomato , the getaway allows tourists to visit different locations featured in the film franchise. However, a five-day trip can run upwards of $18,500 per person, while the full 12-day tour will set an individual back $73,000.

With summer fast approaching, travel companies are capitalizing on these trends to create the most extravagant and immersive experiences inspired by popular media.
Not only does Black Tomato offer stays in opulent hotels in cities and towns featured in the spy film series, it includes specialized events and activities inspired by Bond's world to give paying customers a complete 007 experience. Travelers can take a tour through London in a 1960s Aston Martin DB5, recreate some of Bond's wild stunts in a private studio with members of the franchise's stunt team, and engage in a high-speed boat chase down the River Thames.
The specialized tour will take paying customers through various European locations, including London, England, France, Monaco, Italy, and Austria. If Black Tomato's spy vacation experience proves popular, the company could add tours in other continents, featuring locations in Asia to include Japan and Thailand from You Only Live Twice and Tomorrow Never Dies, respectively, or South America with exciting activities in Brazil and Chile from Moonraker and Quantum of Solace.
