Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts confirms that he expects to play this week.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters Wednesday that the plan is for Hurts to be the starter for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders.Hurts wore a brace over his left knee during the second half of the 31-17 victory against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. He completed 74 percent of his passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns with an interception.
That said, Hurts wasn't on the report, and Sirianni expressed confidence that Hurts would be ready for Sunday's NFC East divisional game.'We're confident that he'll be ready to go, but anytime these guys are working through pain and things like that ... We anticipate him to go. That doesn't mean it's easy,' Sirianni told reporters during his Wednesday press conference. 'Again, we'll see.
