Alejandro Garnacho is set to be the main competition for Jadon Sancho at Manchester United, should the England star remain at the club.
Garnacho made 50 appearances across all competitions - a figure only surpassed by Andre Onana's 51 - and started United's last 38 games. Ten Hag's decision to shift him to the right wing, with Marcus Rashford often playing on the left, proved to be an inspired move. Sancho now faces a significant challenge to regain favour with the manager and compete with Garnacho for game time. Despite this, there appears to be no ill will between the players, with Sancho recently endorsing Garnacho's Instagram post celebrating Argentina's Copa America victory.
