Former South African president Jacob Zuma attended the installation ceremony of Dr Lesedi Motsatsi as the Chief of the Batlokwa ba Bogatsu in Tlokweng, outside Rustenburg.
The uMkhonto weSizwe Party president, Jacob Zuma , is among the guests attending the installation of Dr Lesedi Motsatsi as the Chief of the Batlokwa ba Bogatsu in Tlokweng outside Rustenburg in the North West.The Chief’s family representative, Chief Manotshi Raboka, says Zuma is a leader who respects traditional leadership structures.
“It is a well-known fact that former President Zuma is a culturalist, he’s a traditionalist. He takes every opportunity presented to him to support and be seen associating with traditions. The invites went across the Batlokwa, across traditional leadership in South Africa and it happened that former president Zuma got hold of the invite and only to find out that President Zuma is related to the Batlokwa. He took the opportunity to come and celebrate this day,” explains Raboka.
