Jackie Tyrrell has hit back at Joe Brolly after the former Derry player cracked a joke about the suit the ex-hurling star wore on RTE's coverage of Kilkenny v Clare on Sunday.
But ahead of Sunday's game, Brolly took to social media to joke that the 41-year-old might have been slightly overdressed for the occasion. He wrote: "Fair play to Jackie Tyrell dropping into the Sunday Game studio on the way to his wedding." Brolly's departure from RTE came after the 2019 All-Ireland final, with the outspoken pundit later saying he was "shocked" by the decision, which he described as 'cruel'.
