Jack Grealish is with the England squad for their games against Australia and Italy despite being out of recent Manchester City matches with injury
Jack Grealish admits that it is 'difficult' to deal with trying to top Manchester City's treble success last season. The 28-year-old played a huge role in the Blues' astonishing season which saw them win the Premier League, FA Cup and a maiden Champions League.
“I don’t mean this to sound weird but it is difficult in a way because you have such a high of winning the treble and then you do think ‘what would ever top that?’,” he said. “After the season that I had with City, it was an unbelievable season, one of the best of my career especially in the second half of the season when I was playing a lot more, playing with confidence.“We’ve come close on two occasions and I feel like we are just getting better and stronger. You look at the players we have in our team, there’s quite a few that could play for any club in the world or any international team in the world. That would be the next on the list, hopefully.
