Danish earbud brand Jabra has just announced a super-affordable pair of true wireless ANC earbuds. The Elite 4 cost just $99 and are available now.
One point worth noting is that the Jabra Elite 4 only support SBC and Qualcomm’s aptX Bluetooth audio codecs. Anyone with an Apple device won’t get the highest possible sound quality because these earbuds don’t support the AAC codec Apple uses on its devices. The Elite 4 is perhaps a better choice for Android devices that support aptX.
Jabra has also included hybrid noise canceling with Elite 4 earbuds. Thanks to feed-forward Active Noise Cancellation, the Elite 4 earbuds can filter out unwanted sounds, reducing annoying distractions like an aircraft engine or the continuous drone of tires on a road surface.... [+]For this new earbud design, Jabra included an array of four separate microphones, which are used to pick up the user’s voice when making phone calls or taking part in video calls.
On a full charge, the Jabra Elite 4 can play for up to 5.5 hours and there’s a total available playing time of 22 hours using the charge in the earbud storage case. Jabra claims the earbuds are made with extra-durable materials and rated IP55 for water and dust resistance. Finally, the earbuds can be ordered in four colors: Dark Gray, Navy, Lilac and Light Beige.The Jabra Elite 4 true wireless earbuds with ANC are available now and cost $99.99 / £99.99 / €99.99.
