Saturday night’s Cascadia Cup clash between the Vancouver Whitecaps and Seattle Sounders is being portrayed as a clash between David and Goliath.

To fell the giants from down the I-5, the Whitecaps will need to address their two biggest issues: scoring, and not getting scored on. Simple in theory, never in execution. With midfielder Nico Lodiero pulling the strings, and forwards Jordan Morris and Raul Ruidiaz cashing in, the Sounders top the scoring charts with 10 goals, all coming inside the area.
