Coronation Street 's Jacob Roberts has come to the defence of his character, Kit Green, explaining the tragic backstory behind his 'bad guy' antics. Kit burst onto the scene this year as Bernie's long-lost son, and he's certainly made an impact in Weatherfield. Bernie had given up Christopher 'Kit' Green for adoption nearly three decades ago. They had once planned a reunion that Bernie failed to attend. However, she finally found him a few months back.
Actor Jacob has now opened up about his role as the controversial figure, shedding light on the poignant reason behind Kit's troubling behaviour.
