The ITV pundit will not cover any more matches at Euro 2024.
Everyone has their favourite pundits, while there are a few who it's fair to say get on everybody's nerves.One ITV pundit has impressed practically everyone with his insights and analysis, but the broadcaster has announced that he will not be covering any more matches at the tournament.
ITV pulled off a bit of a coup in hiring Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl to provide punditry on several Euros matches, with the German particularly impressing viewers with his analysis of England's underwhelming performances. However, during ITV's coverage of Portugal's 3-0 win against Turkiye on Saturday, host Mark Pougatch announced that Rohl would be returning to England to begin pre-season with his club.The 35-year-old manager provided punditry on that match alongside former England stars Gary Neville and Eni Aluko."Gutted that's the last game of analysis for Danny Rohl…..he has been superb!!," wrote one viewer on X.
Another fan commented: "Danny Rohl has been by far the best pundit On ITV in these Euros, he knows what he's talking about and is a breath of fresh air, Sheffield Wednesday are so lucky to have him."A third said: "When you hear the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Thomas Frank and Danny Rohl speak on punditry, all current managers with fantastic modern insights, it really makes you wonder why these TV companies continue to employ some of the pundits they do.
