The Commissioner General for Italy and the Commissioner General for the San Marino Government on Friday signed the Protocol of Understanding and Cooperation for the Osaka World Expo 2025.
The agreement provides for the involvement of the regions of Emilia Romagna and the Marche in the promotional activities for the development of tourism in a broad area that includes more than 120 Italian municipalities and the nine San Marino castles, a statement said. "With the almost 30 million visitors expected at Expo, we will be able to address a slice of the global audience in the Asian area that is rich in young markets and has strong economic growth, where there are wide growth margins for our tourism sector," he added.
