Even though it was a requirement for his career, Golden State Warriors star Andrew Wiggins wishes he didn\u0027t get the COVID\u002D19 vaccine.
, the 27-year-old forward admitted he was reluctant to get the COVID-19 vaccine, but it was required in order to play. Had he not gotten the vaccine, Wiggins would’ve missed a substantial part of the season due to pandemic protocols.
“I still wish I didn’t get it, to be honest with you, but you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do,” said Wiggins. “I did it, and I was an All-Star this year and champion, so that was the good part, just not missing out on the year, the best year of my career.”Article contenttap here to see other videos from our teamWith the vaccine in his system, Wiggins averaged 18 points and eight rebounds during the NBA playoffs en route to helping the Warriors win the championship.
