Miselo's natural hair journey began with a devastating illness
Mum-of-three Miselo Kunda has raised her children to be proud of and love their natural hair. However, her own relationship with her hair wasn’t always as healthy, and it wasn’t until she was bed ridden with a severe illness she came to embrace it in it's natural state.
“I found this hairstyle that looked a little like Beyonce's, they looked like blonde locks and I was getting compliments for it. The symptoms for the disorder include extreme fatigue, weight loss, migraines, stomach pains, nausea, diarrhoea or vomiting. Earlier this year, Miselo’s health drastically improved. In September, a teacher approached Miselo looking for advice on how to get a student to love their natural hair the same way her sons Ezra, 8, and Ezekiel, 14, did.
