“We will still be open seven days a week, but our focus will change to a more cafe-style setting, with coffee, cakes, soups, sandwiches and pastries on the menu to reduce our overheads without compromising on the quality of what we have to offer.”Patricia’s was, fortunately, able to keep the kitchen team’s jobs by transferring them to a bakery business the Docherty family owns and hopes to secure positions for the employees at a new coffee shop in Strathbungo over the next few months.
