Orlando Pirates returned to action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to face Richards Bay FC in a crunch Carling Knockout Cup quarterfinal clash.
The match then proceeded to extra-time before penalties were to decide the winner. Unfortunately for Jose Riveiro’s side, the lottery of the penalty shootout was against them with Richards Bay picking up a 5-4 victory. “When it comes to the game, I think we started very well. We created a lot of chances you know. Like the coach told us before, the last game that we played against Cape Town Spurs we didn’t start well. Today, we had to start well.
