'It has become all too easy to point fingers': Ramaphosa supports Mbeki's national dialogue proposal

Agreeing to go back to basics by canvassing South Africans' views on addressing pressing challenges, President Cyril Ramaphosa gave the thumbs up to former president Thabo Mbeki's proposal for a national dialogue after the general elections.

"I believe that we should continue to use our tried-and-tested method of building consensus in our country to overcome our challenges. It has become all too easy to point fingers, find fault, and blame. "It has become more difficult to build consensus and to work together and, therefore, I am very attracted and very supportive to the proposal that he has put forward because this approach has always worked for us," Ramaphosa said on Tuesday night.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
