The Israeli military announced on Thursday that it had struck a facility in southern Lebanon used by Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militant group. The operation was a response to a detected terrorist activity linked to the storage of mid-range rockets by Hezbollah. The Israeli army stated that it continues to monitor and enforce violations of the ceasefire agreement in the region.

The Israeli military has also announced a nighttime curfew in south Lebanon, warning residents it is"strictly forbidden to move or travel south of the Litani River" between 5pm on Thursday and 7am the following day.
